Dealer Account/Pricing Information

Dealers, Resellers, VARs and even Home-based Hobbyists can qualify for dealer pricing if you meet the following conditions:

1. You possess a current Michigan Sales Tax License for a business that uses computer parts in its product or resells them.  You Qualify.  Most computer dealers, VARs, retailers and manufacturers fall under this category.  You are tax exempt.  You need only contact any one of our stores and tell them you'd like to set up a dealer account, then fax over or bring in a copy of your sales tax license.

2. You build or service computers as a hobby or a small business (generally unlicensed, no dba permit, no sales tax license).    You have purchased a minimum of $4,500.00 in parts from our company over the last three months (must produce receipts OR establish a retail account at our store) and will continue to purchase over $1,500.00 per month worth of product.  You qualify.  You must pay sales tax.  You need only come to any of our stores with your receipts (or a $4500 order) and tell them you'd like to set up a dealer account.  Your account will be evaluated every three months.  If you fall well below the $1,500.00 amount for a three month period, your account will be closed. To obtain a DBA Permit (Doing Business As...Necessary if you're doing business under an 'assumed' name), contact your local county clerk's office and they'll send you an application form. This generally costs about $10-$15 and the permits are good for 5-7 years. This permit may not be necessary if you're doing business under your own name. Check with your city or county for specific requirements in this case.
